“ My favorite pub in Totnes. Lovely beer brewed by the pub. The window seat is great for people watching the folk of Totnes. Love it here. Like the Terminator I'll be back. ”
“ The Barrel House manage to get some great acts. I just wish it was closer, or the train would run at more convenient times. Short clip of The 3 Daft Monkeys who are brilliant and gave such positive energy. ”
“ My first visit to The Barrel House. I was attending to perform at an open mic night. I was greeted by the events manager who was absolutely lovely. That goes for all the bar staff, a friendly and helpful attitude all round. A good range of beers and ciders available. No food but you can order in from elsewhere. Good performance venue and a great welcome in Totnes. ”
“ An absolutely lovely little music venue. Holds approx 100 people so is perfect for intimate performances. They put on a wide range of acts and club nights - in the last couple of years I've seen Joe Metronomy DJ, The Wave Pictures, jazz, psych rock, folk, and raved to house music. They have a monthly comedy night and a open mic jam session. The gold vaulted ceiling is pretty special too! ”
“ One of my favourites place in town! Especially the Ballroom to do the salsa lessons every Monday and the service is great! Traditional beer and nice wine always live music ... ”
“ A great place. Only went upstairs for a gig but it was one of those small places where everyone crams in, good beer, good music, good vibes. Great ceiling too, old ball room. ”
“ Great little music venue above a pub, very intimate with good acoustics. Visited to watch "40 Watt Sun" perform, who was excellent. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a small bar with a limited range of drinks, but it is very easy to pop downstairs to the main bar for more choice. Will definitely be back to see more bands here. ”
“ Best bar and events in totnes by far. Great place with reasonable prices and good selection of drinks. Beautiful outdoor courtyard with a great vibe. ”
